More of an old time factory tour/history on the subject than a how to build book. I wanted "how to build" -the first 16 pages do a weak job of that (not enough for most people) then on to history! Interesting novelty, better go somewhere else to actually build a machine.

Was talking to an elderly neighbour and found she had a very old phonograph. I was a little at a loss on how to help her run it and decided to do to a little research. Low and behold I found this little jem, we both found this book to be a HUGE help.
