A thousand and one formulas is the title but many of the "formulas" are "do it yourself" experiments or "build your own" lab equipment. There're some interesting formulas. Written in 1920 - some of the items are no longer available, many chemicals have new names (see Lindsay's Chemical Cross Reference for help) and safety concerns?- you're on your own. I like "Manual of Formulas" better.
